5/27/2023 0 Comments Apple keyboard page down![]() So the shortcut to move objects up and down through the layers of your project use the "fn" (function) key on the lower left of your keyboard with the PgUp and PgDn keys. So, first off of course, the PgUp and PgDn keys are actually the arrow symbol keys on the lower right of the keyboard "^" = "PgUp" (page up) and the down arrow is PgDn. Just this one! Ha! Always in the last place you look, huh? Frankly I thought I had tried this combo before as well as every other possible combination of keys with PgUp and PgDn but I must have missed this one combination. So I finally stumbled on to the Mac keyboard shortcut and I thought I would put it out there for anyone else having the same problem. ![]() Using the mouse command "Object/Lower" or "Object/Raise" off of the toolbar really gets old. I thought I tried everything and every time I do a search I end up nowhere. ![]() The PgUp (page up) or PgDn (page down) keyboard commands for this action on Windows don't just work that way on Mac. I've been using Inkscape for years on my Mac (10.6) and could never find or figure out the specific Inkscape Mac keyboard shortcuts for raise or lower an object through the layers in a project - that is from lower layer to upper layer and visa versa, not move the object's position geographically on page up and down.
